Apple and Adobe have not agreed upon PDF protocols. The iPad will not open a PDF which is a "dynamic form". If your personnel will need to receive PDF's such as itineraries and trip sheets on an iPad, your AircraftLogs account must be configured to "flatten" PDF's. It is a simple setting on your trip sheet configuration page. Contact our office for assistance: 888-359-5647
If your device is upgraded to IOS 6 or higher, you can upload documents as photos. When using a document upload dialog box within AircraftLogs, click "choose file". You will be prompted to "Take Photo or Video" or "Choose Existing". "Take Photo or Video" activates you camera, while "Choose Existing" opens the "Photos" panel on or iPad or iPhone. (Note: your device must be upgraded to IOS 6 or higher.)
AircraftLogs emails flight schedules as meeting requests which can be accepted in Outlook or similar email calendars (such as a Blackberry®). iPads & iPhones currently do not allow users to accept these meeting requests; however, if your iPad synchs with your office's email calendar system, your flight schedules will appear after you accept the meeting from another device.
